I have had a lot on my mind in the last few weeks and I just need to vent. Like really really rant. But, I think I’ll let this article just be about the ensemble and let the pictures do the talking. There are a few occasions when you want to go all out and dress up and yet you have to restrain yourself because it’s someone else’s day. It was one of those events. First up in my beautiful ensemble is this hand-painted, handcrafted clutch by 1961 Art Atelier. It came beautifully gift packed in this wooden box.
Such a perfect little thing! Wearable art in its truest form. It would be blashphemy to call this an arm candy! So much is the beauty and “aura” of the clutch that I decided to forego almost all other jewelry. Yep! “1961 art atelier” is a brand dedicated to the “Era of Wearable Art movement”, showcasing an exquisite range of Limited Edition Clutches wherein all the creations are thoughtfully hand painted and handcrafted, thus each art-work is one of its kind. More than just a creation, it’s a collector’s possession. I have to agree. You can check out their entire collection at their website: http://1961artatelier.com/. Check them out on insta at @1961art.atelier. The outfit has been designed by Kalgi Shah from Kalgi Rutbaa and it’s everything that I want from a wedding outfit. The skirt is raw silk, heavy and very event appropriate and the crop top is a complete mismatch. But, you know I am a rebel right? ;). And those batwing sleeves..uff! As a last minute thought, I decided to wear this quirky little nath…well just because I felt like it. Kudos to Bhavna Narang at Bhav’s Customized Jewelry who indulged me ( and my quirk!) and made this on order in 24 hours! I decided to let my hair be messy and didn’t style it at all. It’s exactly how I woke up…lol! The shoes are my favourite stilettoes from Charles & Keith (well to be honest…all my shoes are my favourite 🙂 ). Hope you liked the look. I for one would like to believe that it’s one of my best looks ever. For all those who have been waiting for my ramblings….next post pakka!
Stay Gorgeous xx
