The world of fashion is a complete buzz of events. From fashion weeks to award functions, there’s always something going on and the glitterati seem to be shuttling around at their glam-best! These days with each event happening, the divas of Bollywood have been raising the style benchmark. At the recent Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards, the red carpet witnessed some outstanding looks. Well let’s see how they rocked the red carpet last week!
The petite stylista was a surprise package, having scaled up drastically compared to her wardrobe at the previous year’s event. She wore a mint coloured gown by Ulyana Sergeenko and marsala tie-up stilettos. With her hair pulled up into a sleek half-knot and smokey eyes to complete the look, she surely lived up to the title of being the Youth Icon!
The Indian Barbie was all dolled up in a pink flared evening gown having a heavy embroidered top, by De La Rents. Pink lips and a simple hairstyle completed her fairytale look. Bagging the Most Stylish Award, she has come a long way from her initial days in Bollywood, now being spotted around at her stylish best. Compared to many of her other appearances; this look was a little underscored. While she had every bit of elegance, some accessories and soft curls would have added some score. Yet, she’s still the Doll!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
This lady has had eyeballs following her for over two decades. At the red carpet last week, she walked in with regality, wearing a glittery extended black gown by La Bourjoisie. With sleek pulled back hair and nude lips, Aishwarya looked nothing less than the queen of Bollywood! She won the Most Glamourous Star Award. Till date, she’s still a head-turner!
This new addition to the B-town circle was a total stunner! The Mohen-jo-Daro girl had a divalicious entry wearing a metallic silver-white gown by Gaurav Gupta. The uneven 3D neckline was the catch. With hair tied up and maroon lips, she surely passed-off for even an Oscar event!
B-town divas keep raising the style benchmark and keep inspiring millions of people! After such inspiration, let’s get working on our own closet now!!
Ummm…how about shopping?
